Resumen

Objetivos
Presentar un algoritmo de diagnóstico asistido por ordenador (CAD) diseñado para analizar todas las radiografías (Rx) de tórax, incluso las que no son revisadas por radiólogos, en el entorno del Servicio Galego de Saúde (SERGAS).

Material y métodos
Bases de datos
Para el desarrollo del algoritmo, y para el entrenamiento del clasificador, se emplearon 55 Rx de tórax, proyección posteroanterior, con 64 nódulos pulmonares. De estas Rx, 35 (con 43 nódulos) pertenecían a pacientes del Complexo Hospitalario Universitario de Vigo; y 20 Rx, con 21 nódulos, a pacientes del Complexo Hospitalario Universitario de Santiago de Compostela.
La evaluación posterior se realizó con una base de datos totalmente independiente que contenía 20 Rx de tórax con 21 nódulos.
Todas las Rx se obtuvieron de la práctica clínica diaria y con la aprobación del comité ético de ambos centros.
