Tratamiento Percutaneo De La Fibrosis Intermetatarsiana.

Objetivos
El complejo Morton o fibrosis intermetatarsiana responde a un borramiento de la grasa de los espacios intermetatarsianos a la altura de las articulaciones metatarsofalángicas por tejido fibroso que engloba tanto al nervio plantar medio como a la bursa y ligamento transverso, siendo fuente de una neuralgia
intensa que produce incapacidad funcional para la deambulación.
Nuestro objetivo es tratar dicha fibrosis mediante un tratamiento percutáneo guiado por ecografía que resulta sencillo, barato y minimamente invasivo, evitando los efectos secundarios de otros tratamientos más agresivos (inyección de toxina botulínica, anestésicos, corticoides; neurolisis con alcohol; ondas de choque; ablación percutánea con radiofrecuencia, crioablación; cirugía...).
