UTILIDAD DE LA ECOGRAFÍA INTRAOPERATORIA EN LA CIRUGÍA DE LA RECIDIVA GANGLIONAR DEL CARCINOMA DE TIROIDES

Objetivos
Presentar nuestra experiencia utilizando la ecografía intraoperatoria (EIO) en una serie de pacientes con recidiva ganglionar de cáncer de tiroides detectada en seguimiento ecográfico.
Material y métodos
Análisis retrospectivo de los casos diagnosticados de recidiva ganglionar de carcinoma de tiroides mediante ecografía de cuello desde enero de 2015 a febrero de 2018 Se incluyeron 13 pacientes con cirugía tiroidea previa por carcinoma de tiroides y una o varias 5 metástasis ganglionares de pequeño tamaño detectadas por ecografía preoperatoria y confirmadas mediante ecografía PAAF Todas las recidivas fueron consideradas de alta dificultad técnica para su resección por
localización y/o tamaño A todos ellos se les realizó una ecografía reglada preoperatoria de mapeo ganglionar y posteriormente fueron intervenidos guiados por EIO con el mismo equipo ecográfico
