Lumbalgias en Urgencias:
creación de un algoritmo diagnóstico de ayuda.

Objetivo
Objetivo general:
Proponer un algoritmo de recomendaciones basadas en la evidencia que resulte de ayuda a la decisión clínica para la solicitud de pruebas de imagen en pacientes adultos que acuden al servicio de Urgencias por lumbalgia.
Material y Método
Trabajo desarrollado dentro del Proyecto FIS MAPAC Imagen II, financiado por el Instituto de Salud Carlos III ((Plan Estatal de I+D+i 2016 2019), Proyectos: FIS PI16/00296, FIS PI16/01828, FIS PI16/01786, FIS PI16/00558; y cofinanciado por el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional «Una manera de hacer Europa», FEDER. Ha sido integrado por clínicos, radiólogos y metodólogos de cuatro hospitales españoles.
Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica sistemática y un análisis crítico de las evidencias sobre la utilidad de Rx , TC y RM en el Servicio de Urgencias en lumbalgias. Se utilizaron distintas bases de datos y guías de recomendación radiológicas y clínicas. Se creó un algoritmo diagnóstico y por consenso de un panel de expertos se obtuvo el documento definitivo.
