Resumen

Objetivos
• Definir riesgo y niveles de riesgo en el cáncer de mama
• Establecer guías para reducir los falsos positivos en RM
• Lograr una tabla de indicación de RM de mama en pacientes con riesgo elevado de cáncer de mama

Material y métodos
Revisión de la literatura reciente sobre la categorización del riesgo de padecer cáncer de mama para definir los grupos de riesgo para esta patología.
Identificación de los avances técnicos y de interpretación de las imágenes de RM de mama que puedan ayudar a mejorar la especificidad de la técnica, especialmente evitando falsos positivos.
Revisión de las guías aprobadas en el seguimiento con imagen de las pacientes de riesgo para carcinoma de mama y de las publicaciones más recientes al respecto, para tratar de sintetizarlas en una tabla que recoja las indicaciones de la RM de mama en este subgrupo de pacientes.
