Resumen

Objetivos Docentes
En los últimos años, se han incrementado significativamente las peticiones de tomografía computarizada (TC) para la evaluación de las anomalías dentarias. Nuestro objetivo es analizar las TC realizadas en nuestro centro y describir las alteraciones más frecuentes.

Revisión del tema
INTRODUCCIÓN
La TC es la mejor técnica para el estudio anatómico dentario (dientes temporales y permanentes), determinar la localización exacta de un diente patológico y su relación con las estructuras vecinas (senos maxilares o el canal mandibular) y para caracterizar las lesiones.
