Valoración del grosor del complejo íntima-media carotídeo con ultrasonidos en niños obesos

Resumen

Objetivos
1.Establecer un protocolo de examen con US de la medida del GIM carotídeo que sea reproducible y seguro.
2.Verificar la reproducibilidad interobservador en la medida del GIM carotídeo mediante ecografía.
3.Describir el diseño y metodología utilizada en el Programa SALUD 5-10, programa de ejercicio físico diseñado con el objetivo de abordar el sobrepeso y obesidad en escolares de una franja de edad entre 5 a 10 años, mejorando su condición física y salud cardiovascular.
4.Evaluar el GIM mediante US en niños con sobrepeso y obesidad entre 5 y 10 años.
5.Evaluar la enfermedad grasa no alcohólica del hígado mediante US en niños con sobrepeso y obesidad entre 5 y 10 años.
6.Valorar la asociación entre el GIM y la enfermedad grasa no alcohólica del hígado en niños con sobrepeso y obesidad entre 5 y 10 años.
7.Verificar la reversibilidad del GIM y la disfunción endotelial después de la realización de un programa de ejercicio físico.
8.Verificar la reversibilidad de la enfermedad grasa no alcohólica del hígado después de la realización de un programa de ejercicio físico.

Material y métodos
El presente estudio es parte del programa de salud “SALUD 5-10 “, programa de ejercicio físico diseñado con el objetivo de abordar el sobrepeso y obesidad en escolares de una franja de edad entre 5 a 10 años, mejorando su condición física y salud cardiovascular.
